When a child, Crisostomo moved with his parents to Ischia Di Castro. They were breeders of livestock, possibley sheep.
Ischia di Castro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Viterbo in the Italian region of Latium, located about 90 km northwest of Rome and about 30 km northwest of Viterbo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,467 and an area of 104.9 km².
Ischia di Castro borders the following municipalities: Canino, Cellere, Frarnese, Manciano, Pitigliano and Valentano.
Ischia di Castro was the closest town to Castro and became a refuge for the lower classes of Castro. The entrance is dominated by a fortress which served as a palace for the Farnese.
Ischia was one of the Farnese family’s first estates and it was they who had the castle erected. Other monuments of historical interest are the small church of St. Rocco and the Dome of St. Ermete. The small but precious local museum tells the history of the land over the years, from prehistoric times to the Renaissance, through its archaeological findings. In this peaceful environment we recommend visiting the Castro ruins (the site of the ancient Statonia according to some experts). Surrounded by charming countryside, visitors will find rock monasteries from medieval times, known as ‘hermitages’. Ischia di Castro is on the Tuscan boarder and just 45 kms from Orvieto. There are plenty of places of interest close by: Viterbo with its thermal baths, Bolsena Lake, Marta, Capodimonte, Bolsena, Bisentina Island and Martana Island, Montefiascone, Tuscanica, Vulci, Saturnia thermal baths, Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana, La Selva del Lamone with the Lake of Mezzano and Civita di Bagnoreggio. During the last week of July there is the A.M.A. festival with art, music and craft exhibitions. This is a good occasion to taste some of the tasty, wholesome local dishes and good local wine. In August don’t miss the original ‘cart’ races! The owners, Stefania and Assunta, were so taken by the place that they decided to move to the area and open a Bed & Breakfast. The house is cosy, welcoming and well kept. The rooms are very pretty. Breakfast is made by Assunta who spoils her guests with her baking.

During World War 2, Domenico was drafted into the Italian army. He was deployed to North Africa and assigned to Romells command. After the African campaign he was sent to Northern Italy along the Austrian border. When Mussolini was overthrown the Italian army changed it's allegiance to the allied powers, when this happened they were all taken captive by the German army. Domenico was then sent to a Stalag in Germany where he was assigned to the camp commanders horse farm as a laborer. The Russian army entered Germany and begin to liberate some of the camps. The German army begin to leave the camps taking as many prisoners with them as possible, leaving behind mostly Italian P.O.W.s whom they had previously been allied with. When the Russians arrived Domenico and others were taken captive by the Russian army and sent to the Gulags in Siberia where he remaind until after the war ended and before being repatriated to Italy.
In 1947, Domenico arrived in the United States and was employed as a coal miner.
Domenico was Chief of Police of a small town at one time.
In 1970, Domenico moved to Canfield, Ohio.
In 2007, Domenico is living in Canfield, Mahoning County, Ohio at the age of 83.

Born March 20, 1931 at Premier, WV. She was the daughter of the late Guido and Josephine Patsey BELFIORE. Mrs. BUCCARELLI was a devoted wife and mother. She was a past member of the St. Peters Catholic Church in Welch and currently a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bluefield. She was also a member of the St. Theresa Society and Welch Friendship Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Costantino BUCCARELLI. Survivors include One son, Dino BUCCARELLI of Tampa FL. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, WV with Father Paul Wharton officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:00 p.m."

On 15 May 2005, David Philip graduated from Salem Community High School.
In 2005, David Philip went to Ft. Benning, Georgia for basic training. He had been serving in the Illinois National Guard since he turned 18, later enlisting into the United States Army.
In 2006 David Philip was stationed in Germany, then served a tour of duty in Baghdad, Iraq, where he escorts dignataires around Iraq.
In 2007 David Philip was once again stationed in Heidelberg, Germany.
In 2008, returned to the United States.
